OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Navigating through Iowa just got a little bit easier. The Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) says a portion of I-29 that was closed has reopened.
According to a release, the interstate system has been reopened in both directions throughout Iowa although they say motorists may experience some lane closures.
Some additional closures will remain in effect they say:
- Exit 66 at Honey Creek will remain closed due to flooding
- Flood-related closures remain on Iowa 275 and Iowa 333 near Hamburg
