An inmate at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution died early Tuesday morning from unknown causes.
According to a release, 54-year-old Donald Krisor was receiving treatment for complications related to a medical procedure.
Krisor was serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony in Douglas County. His sentence began on Mar. 24, 2016 and he was tentatively scheduled for release in August of 2032.
A grand jury will conduct an investigation into the incident, which is a standard procedure for when someone dies in custody of Nebraska correctional services.
