OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska Department of Transportation is reminding baseball fans about potential traffic delays due to the eastbound I-80 detour at the I-80/I-680 interchange where bridge repairs are ongoing.
Fans traveling to the College World Series should allow extra time to get to TD Ameritrade Park.
The detour is scheduled to last for three weeks.
Eastbound I-80 traffic is currently routing onto eastbound L Street. Travelers should follow signs to get back onto the interstate.
Improvements are being made to the bridges between West Center Road and the I-680 interchange.
Construction began this spring and is anticipated to be completed this fall.
