OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The JDRF Promise Gala, an annual event to raise money for type 1 diabetes research, raised over one million dollars last weekend despite challenging weather conditions.
Honorary Chairs Stephanie and Robb Pantano, along with Event Chairs Carolyn and Chase Sutton, helped bring together business and community members to the CHI Health Center last Saturday.
The 22nd annual event, organized by the JDRF Omaha-Council Bluffs Chapter, raised more than $1.6 million to help accelerate important breakthroughs aimed to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.
