This week, children are cooking up lunch service at Sage restaurant at Metro Community college.
Fifteen kids ages 8 to 13 are cooking, serving, and running the restaurant.
Back in the kitchen, some of the kids began by firing up practice dishes. Organizers say the camp is also helping kids learn communication skills and how to work calmly under pressure.
This is the first year Metro has offered the camp.
