Anthony Munson, 72, was arrested Wednesday on several counts of sexual assault of two children, and La Vista Police said they believe there may be more victims.

According to an LVPD release, Munson's incidents are as recent as 10 years ago and far back as more than 30 years ago.

"This may have gone on for some time when these victims were younger," said La Vista Captain Jeremy Kinsey.

Munson was involved for many years in the Boy Scouts and St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Papillion.

The Boy Scouts of America Mid-America Council released this statement:

"The behavior included in these allegations is abhorrent and runs counter to everything for which the Boy Scouts of America stands. while this individual is not currently registered in our programs, upon learning of these reports we took immediate action to prohibit him from any future participation in Scouting."

But neighbors of Munson are horrified by these accusations.

"Just sick to my stomach," said Jon Wick who said the neighborhood is quiet and the Munson's keep to themselves, "That's not okay period."

He is currently being held in the Sarpy County Jail on $2 million bond.

Munson's preliminary hearing is set for December 19th at 1:30p.m. in Sarpy County Court Room 2.

Anyone with information regarding additional victims or whose children who may have had contact with Munson are encouraged to contact the La Vista Police Criminal Investigations Bureau at 402-331-1582 or La Vista Crimestoppers at 402-592-STOP.
