Beginning today, La Vista Police and the Nebraska Humane Society are partnering with the goal of giving dogs, up for adoption, a better chance at finding a home.
La Vista Police officers will take shelter dogs from the Nebraska Humane Society on partol with them.
The hope is that by taking the dogs into the community, people will be come more interested in adopting them and they will better adapt to being around humans.
