Seven people were forced from their home near 39th and King after it caught fire around 5:30 Sunday night.
Heavy smoke and flames were coming from the back of the house when firefighters arrived. Nobody was home at the time and the Red Cross is now assisting the family.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
