The calendar says April, but so far, our weather this month has been anything but spring-like.

The return of winter weather is forcing many to put off getting our yards and gardens ready for the year and it has lawn care companies battling two seasons.

"We're ready for winter to be done," Zack Warner, a manager at Robert's Nursery Landscape & Lawns said. "With the snow coming, we are kind of on edge watching the weather is going to do."

The Nursery has already started putting down seed and fertilizer for spring, but this weekend their focus is shifting back to winter.

"It's Nebraska weather," Warner said, "we kind of tuck and role."
