OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) says they arrested a man after a minor traffic stop. The reason he was arrested: he was a felon in possession of a firearm.
LPD says 28-year-old Joshua Vandeventer was pulled over after officers observed him running a stop sign at South Folsom and W A Street.
Vandeventer was found to be in the possession of a rifle and driving under suspension. He was placed under arrest for both charges.
Vandeventer's prior felony charge was terroristic threats according to the Nebraska Department of Corrections.
