Lincoln Police investigate homicide

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Lincoln Police responded to a stabbing overnight Sunday where a male victim died from his injuries.

Police arrived at a residence near 22nd & Orchard St shortly after 3:30 a.m. where officers located a male suffering from stab injuries.

Medical intervention was quickly put in place but the male was eventually pronounced dead.

Lincoln Police investigators are interviewing those who were with the victim at the time of the stabbing.

There is currently no further information available and efforts to notify next of kin are continuing.
