Lincoln Police have arrested one woman and are searching for two others who are accused of sex trafficking.

Police began their investigation on June 14th when they learned a teenage girl may have been recruited into prostitution by an adult woman. On June 21st undercover officers made arrangements to meet with the girl. When they arrived, 40 year old Kimberly Wheeler asked for money in exchange for sexual services by the teen. Wheeler was arrested and charged with felony pandering. The teen who was a runaway was placed in DHHS custody.

Police obtained arrest warrants for 33 year old Jacqueline Stebbins and 25 year old Kayla Holt who are also believed to be involved in sex trafficking. Investigators say it's possible that there are more victims and others involved.
