That's why you may find the 3 News Now Weather Alert Team at area schools. We're partnering with the Omaha Storm Chasers' All-Stars Program which honors area teachers who have gone above and beyond this school year.
The Chasers' mascot Stormy delivered the good news to Mrs. Nelson at Westridge Elementary and Ms. Jurgens at Lewis and Clarke Middle School.
3 News Now Meteorologist Mark Stitz joined the Chasers to honor Ms. Burt at R.M. Mars Magnet Middle School and Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin honored both Mrs. Irvine and Ms. Syan at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School.
