OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — All Omaha Walmart and Sam's Club stores kicked the annual Children's Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising campaign. The campaign aims to help treat local children who are sick or injured.
All money raised during the campaign directly benefits Children's Hospital & Medical Center to fund critical treatments, pediatric medical equipment, research, and charitable care. The campaign runs from June 10-July 7.
To date, Walmart and Sam's Club stores in Omaha have raised more than $5.8 million for Children's Hospital. On a national level, the company has raised more than $1 billion for Children's Hospital's. This is the largest cash amount ever raised by one company for a nonprofit in America.
