Friday night the food, live music and fun kicks off across the river for Loessfest.
The family-fun activities continue through the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Friday is the first day of the annual Loessfest concert series - which is an event hosted by the city of Council Bluffs and the Iowa West Foundation - as part of a kickoff to the three-day Memorial weekend.
Friday's headliner concert will include KC and the Sunshine band and will start at 7 p.m.
