A west Omaha daycare owner caught on camera, hitting and shaking a four-year-old girl in April will make another court appearance Tuesday morning.

Lynn Rowe, owner of Lynn’s Learning Center near 112th and West Center Road was arrested shortly after a video surfaced showing the alleged child abuse.

She posted bond in April and was forced to surrender her daycare license after the State of Nebraska issued an emergency order to shut down her business.

The judge told Rowe she could get three years in prison if convicted.

The now 5-year-old girl’s parents, Kelley and Al Meyers say they haven’t seen Rowe since they confronted Rowe about the video back in April.

I thought that by time passing, that a lot of the emotions i had would go away but as this day got closer and closer that i realize they are still there, and what I want is justice for what happened to our daughter and the only that I see that happening is if she walks in tomorrow and says she's guilty,” said Meyers.

“I haven’t even caught a glimpse of her since the night we confronted her, so I’m nervous to see her, I’m cramped up, my stomach is in knots,” added Meyers.

The parents have since transferred their daughter to a Pre-K that is fully staffed and has cameras throughout the building.
