FREMONT, Neb. (KMTV) - A year after J.C. Penney closed at the Fremont Mall, foot traffic has slowed down inside the building. But mall managers told 3 News Now, that should be changing soon.
Although details of any tenants were not made available they said an announcement could come soon.
This has many mall shoppers curious about what could be moving in and there's one type of store many would like to see.
"I would like to see a lot more clothing stores. We have a very limited thing here and anything we really want we'd have to go to Omaha for and it would be nice to do it here," said Fremont resident Wendy Novak.
"Definitely need more clothing stores we are missing that," said shopper Diana Thompson.
"I would just like to see a nice clothing store and shoes both men's and women's," said Alvina Mumm who comes to the mall at least once a week.
