Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine has charged Nicholas Colabello with a connection to a fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of 60th and Center Streets this Past Saturday.
Colabello has been charged with motor vehicle homicide/DUI felony in connection to the deadly crash.
Police say a Colabello turned in front of a motorcycle near 60th and center causing them to collide.
It happened around 1:30 am Saturday.
Medics took 31-year-old Dustin Roof to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
When law enforcement had contact with Colabello, he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Officials say Colabello failed a preliminary breath test and had a breath alcohol content (BAC) of .119.
On Sunday, Collabello's bond was set at $150,000.
His first court appearance has been set for Tuesday.
