OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The man convicted of murdering Peru State College student Ty Thomas wants a new trial.
Joshua Keadle was found guilty of second degree murder last week. KMTV has learned his lawyers have filed a motion for a new trial.
Thomas disappeared nearly a decade ago. Her body was never found.
A hearing on the new trial motion is set for April 29, the same day Keadle was scheduled to be sentenced.
