OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A 33-year-old Omaha man told police he was shot while sleeping early Sunday.
Police responded to the area of S 26th and Drexel St around 2 a.m. to investigate.
When officers arrived, they located 33-year-old Felipe Moreno-Lopez suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Moreno-Lopez said he was sleeping when the shooting occurred.
Authorities noticed damage to the home and vehicles in the street from gunfire.
Medics transported Moreno-Lopez to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment.
