An Omaha man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the murder of an woman last June.
A Douglas County Judge sentenced 28 year old Matthew Kidder to life in prison plus 20 years for the sexual assault and murder of his friend 28 year old Jessica Nelson.
Nelson's body was found in the bathtub of her home near 83rd and Miami on June 25, 2015. DNA evidence connected Kidder to the crime. According to family members, Kidder and Nelson knew each other their entire lives.
