Officers responded to the area of 27th and Ellison Avenue for a call of shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a victim, Shane D. Holbert who says he was walking with friends when they were shot at by an unknown suspect.
Holbert was shot in the right thigh, however the bullet was stopped by an iPhone and iPad in his pocket.
Holbert had no injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
