OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald are reporting that online retailer Hayneedle is laying off 200 workers in Omaha as part of a restructuring plan.

The jobs being lost are in the company's corporate headquarters as well as call centers here in Omaha.

Hayneedle started as its own company but was purchased by another company that Walmart bought.

A Walmart representative says the decision was made by Hayneedle and not Walmart.

Workers who have lost their jobs will receive 60 days of pay while they look for other employment opportunities.
