OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Mayor Jean's Stothert's office has published their weekly pothole progress report and is asking for the public's help in identifying areas that still need to be repaired. They say many of them have been patched and that one well-traveled road should reopen next week.

A southwest Omaha road closed last month for pothole repair is expected to reopen next week. The reconstruction of South 144th Street between U and Q started in mid-March, the damaged concrete has been completely removed and replaced.
Concrete panel replacement is also underway at 152nd and Stoney Brook, 79th & K, 13th & Grace and the roads surrounding Westroads.
In the last week, April 12-18, city and contractor crews work Monday-Friday 7am-7pm and Saturday and Sunday.

The repair estimate is based on the amount of asphalt used and the average size of repaired potholes (3’ x 3’ x 8” deep). We are using this estimate because pothole reports are bundled into work orders for scheduled repairs. A work order can be one pothole, or a street with multiple potholes, so this estimate is the most accurate number.
During the week April 12 - April 18 we worked at these locations repairing potholes with asphalt.
Repairs at some locations listed here are still underway.
