OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — MetLife officially celebrated the opening of a new customer service center in the Gavilion Building in downtown Omaha.

At full capacity, MetLife expects the customer service center will create up to 250 jobs in the Omaha market.

The new campus represents a major investment by MetLife in digital initiatives that are transforming the customer experience. It also continues the company's broader strategic effort of transforming the workplace by bringing employees together in state-of-the-art collobarative environments.

"We could not be more excited to officially welcome Omaha to the MetLife family," said Jill Davis, assistant vice president and the Omaha site lead. "Today is about more than just the building. It is about the people. It's about growth, and it's about connective with the millions of customers we serve."
