There are some new Metro Transit buses on the streets of Omaha.
The new buses went into service Thursday as Metro is phasing out its older, diesel-powered buses. Metro says the new buses will reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency. They expect all of the new buses will be in service by the end of the year.
