While many with ties in Nebraska are playing at this week's Pinnacle Bank Championship in Omaha this weekend, one is teeing it up in a major on the PGA Tour.
Millard West alum Brady Schnell, 33, is playing at the British Open at Carnoustie this weekend. He shot an 8-over-par 79 in the first round.
Following the event across the pond, Schnell will play in a Web.Com Tour event in Missouri. He won the Tour's Wichita Open last month.
