More than 8,000 still without power in Metro

As of 8:45 a.m. Monday morning, more than 8,000 people are still without power in the Omaha metro. 

According to OPPD, which updates outages every 15 minutes, the number of people without power has ranged between 8,000 and 9,000 throughout the morning and more than half of those are in Sarpy County. 

Currently, there are 8,448 people without power.
