OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A motorcyclist died Monday morning after colliding with a semi near 132nd and Industrial Rd.
Officers were called to a personal injury crash in the area around 10:35 a.m.
According to Omaha Police, a 2015 Freightliner was traveling northbound on 132nd St and violated the red light.
A westbound 2004 Yamaha motorcycle then struck the side of the semi.
Police say a northbound 2012 GMC Acadia was hit by debris by the vehicle.
The motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Bryan Wright, was transported to CHI Bergan with life-saving measures in place and died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The semi driver, George Sansing, 44, was booked into Douglas County Corrections for misdemeanor vehicle homicide.
