A motorcycle rider is dead following a crash at a rural intersection, near Neola in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
The crash happened at Highway L-34 and Whippoorwill Road just before 8 p.m... Deputies say the male motorcyclist who was southbound ran into the back of a cattle truck which was also traveling southbound.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and hometown have not been released.
Deputies are still investigating but say speed may have been a factor.
