Update: OPD identified the motorcylist as 44-year-old Jonathan Sutton of Plattsmouth. He is being treated for severe injuries to the abdomen, legs and face.

The driver of the Ford is identified as 33-year-old Emily Clayton of Omaha.

Original Story: A motorcyclist was injured in an accident with a pick-up truck at 9 p.m. Friday near 38th and Dodge, Omaha Police said.

The man driving the motorcycle, said by police to be in his 20s, was transported to Nebraska Medicine, and may have had life-threatening injuries, police on the scene said.

The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were not hurt in the crash. The passenger tried to do CPR on the motorcyclist, according to officers on scene.

One witness to crash said the motorcyclist was eastbound and struck the pickup as it was turning west out of Taco Bell. Another witness said the motorcyclist had been driving "very recklessly," swerving between vehicles moments before the crash.
