The Nebraska State Patrol has identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash Thursday morning.
Troopers say 24 year old Blake Escamilla was riding a motorcycle westbound on Old Highway 275 around 6:20 a.m. when an eastbound semi attempted to turn left from Old Highway 275 onto Highway 36 and collided with the motorcycle.
Escamilla was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, 50 year old Brian Heldt of Fremont was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation
