Saunders County deputies are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash Wednesday evening.
Deputies say the motorcyclist was southbound on Highway 79 near Prague when a northbound van turned left onto County Road R in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle hit the passenger side of the van. Paramedics took the rider to Saunders Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the van was not hurt, and drugs or alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash.
The motorcyclist was a 59 year old man from Saunders County. His name has not been released pending family notification.
