OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A teacher at Nathan Hale Middle School has been placed on administrative leave.

A letter from Principal Darin Williams informed parents but did not detail the reason or name the teacher.

"We want you to know that we were recently made aware of concerns regarding one of our teachers. We take reports like this very seriously. We immediately contacted our Human Resources department. They placed the staff member on administrative leave pending an investigation. We also contacted the appropriate authorities," the letter said. "At this time, we cannot share additional details. As a reminder to our staff and families, if there is ever a concern regarding inappropriate conduct, reports can be made to the Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-652-1999."
