Nebraska corrections employee arrested

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska State Patrol arrested a Lincoln Correctional Center employee on suspicion of unauthorized communication with a prisoner, according to the Nebraska Department of Corrections.

The state patrol booked 31-year-old Sheena Meidt into the Lancaster County Jail.

NDCS says Meidt served as a recreation specialist at LCC and previously held positions as a corporal and unit case worker.

The charge of unauthorized communication with a prisoner is a felony.
