Nebraska Department of Transportation reports 11 fatalities in June

There were 11 deaths on 10 crashes on Nebraska roads in the month of June, according to a release from the Department of Transportation Thursday. 

Three of the five vehicle occupants were not wearing seat belts, two of the fatalities were pedestrians that got hit and four were on motorcycles. 

Overall, 10 of the fatalities were on rural roads. 

There have been 100 fatalities in 2018. The previous two years both had 101 at this time.
