OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — In Nebraska, the flu is still classified as widespread, according to a report from the State Health Department.
So far this season, close to 5,000 people have been hospitalized by the flu, and there have been more than 10,000 positive flu tests.
Most of those cases are influenza A, which the flu shot was designed to protect against.
