LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Authorities in Texas arrested a Nebraska inmate who left the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln.
Nebraska Department of Corrections says Brandon Britton and another inmate Ronald Taylor ditched their electronic monitoring devices on May 21st.
On Friday, Britton was taken into custody after leading officers on a six-mile chase in Franklin County, Texas.
Britton is now facing charges of felony evading arrest along with other misdemeanors.
He was serving a 10-year sentence for first degree assault, meth and firearm charges. His sentence started in January, 2018.
Authorities are still looking for Taylor. He's a 52-year-old white man, 6'2", 255 lbs. with auburn hair and blue eyes. He's serving 24-54 years behind bars for escape, theft and meth charges.
