SARPY COUNTY, Neb. (KMTV) — A Nebraska marine will remain in a military prison after pleading guilty of trying to get onto Offutt Air Force Base while heavily armed.

Ali Al-Kazahy took a plea deal for the incident last May which shut down the base's Capehart Road gate.

The 22-year-old from Milford was armed with two semi-automatic rifles, a silencer, a bump stock, body armor and a case of ammunition.

He was visiting family while stationed in Hawaii. He will serve two more years behind bars.

His sentence includes a reduction in rank and a bad conduct discharge.
