LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — New Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen is pushing to replace outdated voting equipment in all 93 counties.

Evnen cites the new equipment as being more secure, reliable, and accurate. Governor Pete Ricketts recommended the budget item to the legislature earlier this month.

Evnen hopes to have the new equipment in place prior to May 2020.
