OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The Nebraska State Patrol is mourning the loss of one if its own.
Police Service Dog Bane passed away at age 7 last week due to medical complications.
Bane had served with the Nebraska State Patrol since 2015.
Bane located 1,560 pounds of drugs, 22 criminals and $1.5 million in crime related proceeds during his career.
"That's a career to be proud of," Nebraska State Patrol wrote on Twitter.
