Nebraska Veterans Outreach, a group of veterans known as Ne.V.O., is getting into the Christmas spirit early to help local children in need.
It's part of Toys For Tots, collecting presents for the less fortunate.
Former Marines comprise the group, and tonight's event was their way to give back to the community.
"Ne.V.O. started through the Marine Corps reserves, and we're continuing it. It gives us the chance to keep serving after we've done our term," said Mark Fleming, spokesman for the organization.
Donations will go to The Salvation Army.
