COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa. (KMTV) — A new CHI Health Clinic in Council Bluffs will provide a cast of specialists will be a one stop shop for all your health needs.
In addition to primary and priority care, patients will have access to specialists in behavioral health, women's services, pediatrics, urology, dermatology, radiology, ultrasound, physical therapy and a pharmacy.
The new clinic is the 46th for CHI Health, which has the largest network of clinics in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area.
The Valley View clinic offers a critical service that patients will soon find at ALL CHI Health Clinics: Integrated Behavioral Health.
- The patient sees his or her primary care provider or other specialist at the clinic.
- The provider and patient identify a mental health issue. A specialist will be available on site at certain hours.
- The specialist meets the patient during the primary care visit and performs a brief assessment.
- Together, an action plan is developed, including follow up visits, long-term counseling, or addiction recovery services.
