OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you live in Bellevue your trash pickup day may be changing in less than two weeks.

Starting in August, the city is adjusting garbage collection routes. Officials say the move is needed to make sure the city's nearly 4,000 newly annexed residents get timely service.

The adjustment will affect about 10,000 people.
