The next honor flight from Omaha to Washington D.C. will be May 24.
According to organizers, this year will include purple heart winners and the highest decorated combat veterans from the Persian Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan. The flight will also include women and children of fallen Nebraska soldiers.
