OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you've been thinking about getting a dog, now would be a good time to head the Nebraska Humane Society. All dogs two years and older are on sale.
For $75, the Nebraska Humane Society says you can adopt a dog now through the end of March.
Adoption hours are:
Monday-Friday: 12 - 7 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Humane Society says applications must be completed one hour before closing time.
Their usual adoption fees are:
- Dogs 2 years to 7 years, 11 months start at $185
- Dogs 8 years and older start at $125
- HIPP dogs start at $325. HIPP pets are dogs and cats who are in high demand, may be purebred and whose price at a pet store might be $700 or more. The higher fees go to help other pets who wait months to find homes.
