There will be no airshow this coming summer at Offutt Air Force Base.
Offutt commanders say they are unable to hold the Defenders of Freedom Open House and Air Show in 2017 due to what they call the 55th Wing's "high operational tempo".
They add they are committed to continuing the open house and air show at the next available opportunity, but no future dates have been set.
