Due to heavy rains and the rising level of the Missouri River, the City of Omaha Parks Department has closed NP Dodge Park for the safety of the public.
Officials say areas in Hummel Park are also closed because of fallen trees and debris.
NP Dodge Park will be closed until further notice. The rainfall set an Aug. 20 record and caused flooding around the Omaha Metro.
