OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) says a 13-year-old girl was arrested for "felony flight to avoid arrest, obstruction, assaulting an officer, possession of a stolen vehicle, minor in possession, and open alcohol container."

The list of charges comes after the suspect led a trooper on a chase south of Madison, Nebraska that reached speeds of 80-110 miles per hour. A pursuit was initiated after the trooper noticed the lights were turned off on the vehicle she was driving and finding out the vehicle was stolen.

As the pursuit neared Columbus, the pursuit was called off for concerns of public safety and shortly after, a 911 call came in regarding the vehicle disabled at a motel in Humphrey.

Upon arriving at the scene, the trooper spoke with the driver at which point she allegedly attempted to punch the trooper in the face, multiple times.

The suspect was lodged at the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center.
