OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) says an Iowa man was arrested on several drug-related charges after a traffic stop near Kearney.
NSP says the suspect, 37-year-old Timothy Gorman of Iowa, was pulled over after a trooper saw him driving on the shoulder of Interstate 80. During the stop, the trooper observed "clandestine activity" and a K9 was called in for a search.
During the search, troopers say they found:
- 121 pounds of marijuana
- Six pounds of THC concentrate
- Two vials of steroids
- A small amount of cocaine
- Approximately $14,000 in cash
Gorman was arrested for two charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana – more than one pound, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of money during a drug violation. He has been sent to the Buffalo County jail.
